Professional Learning and Ethical Practice
When working at Bay Shore Soccer Camp, one of the most important things is building relationships with the campers. Some campers come from broken homes, and need as many positive relationships as possible. This picture demonstrates my ability to form those bonds with my campers/students, as well as my outgoing and fun-loving personality.

This picture was taken at the 2015 SHAPE America Convention in Seattle, WA. I worked to raise about $1,500 through our Student Life office at Adrian College in order to be able to go to the conference. This experience exemplifies my drive to learn from professional development at all levels, as well as my leadership abilities in coordinating the expenses and travel.

This letter was written during my associate teaching experience in order to allow my college supervisor to photograph or videotape my lessons. The purpose was for parents to only return the letter if they did not want their child photographed. The letter displays my professionalism when dealing with students and their families, as well as the ability to evaluate my ethics in practice regarding each individual learner.

This physical education brochure details both the in-class activities, as well as the extra-curricular activities that could be offered through a movement program. It moves away from the usual syllabus and toward something more engaging. This document shows my ability to utilize professional tactics in order to communicate with my students and represent my school professionally.

As a member of the SHAPE Michigan board of representatives, I had the responsibility of organizing and executing a Student Leadership Development Conference (SLDC). This document is the schedule from the conference that I was in charge of. It shows my ability to network with professionals in the field, my drive to provide meaningful information for our future professionals, and my skills in planning and organizing extra-curricular activities.

Leadership and Collaboration
This 6-day online course focuses on social and emotional health. The course highlights my use of several collaboration technology tools to get in touch with parents and students in order to further my students' learning experiences. I adjusted this course to differentiate my instruction for my students, and to provide safe places for them to collaborate with each other regarding the content, as well.

This Google Slides presentation was on self-esteem levels in adolescent girls in relation to after-school activities. I did personal research with a club at Springbrook Middle School in Adrian, MI, and put together this presentation for the 2015 SHAPE Michigan Convention. This presentation highlights my ability to collaborate with other professionals regarding a needs-based topic, as well as my ability to seek leadership roles.

I wrote this article for the SHAPE Michigan Winter 2016 Journal. It was a reflection on the schedule and activities of the SHAPE Michigan Student Leadership Development Conference, which I planned and executed. The detail in this piece demonstrates my ability to be a leader among my peers, my organizational skills, and my confidence in my accomplishments.
