Learner Development
This diagram is a representation of how my attendance lines looked at Tecumseh Middle School. I used these lines for a more efficient method of taking attendance, asking the "squad leader" who was missing in their line. This offered students leadership roles and gave them a sense of responsibility. The diagram represents my recognition of varying individual learning and development levels, as well as my efforts to offer learners the opportunity to grow.

This worksheet was used as an introductory assignment for an English unit on identity in literature. I used this worksheet as a way to gauge each student's individual take on what stereotypes mean in order to lead them to how they affect a person's identity. The worksheet identifies my understanding of what is developmentally appropriate, in addition to my push for individualization in learning.

Learning Differences
In order to meet the needs of students with varying learning disabilities, I created modified questions on assessments in order to meet their needs. I found that this reduced the students' sense of being overwhelmed when there were fewer choices, and showed more of what they had actually learned. This modification shows my ability to adapt instruction for students' strengths and weaknesses.

I used this Anger Escalation sequence activity when completing my associate teaching experience in a middle school health class. I put the statements in the document on different colored note cards, each representing a different skill needed to perform the action. For example, the blue cards meant the prompt required more reading. This allowed me to adjust the activity for students that either had trouble with speaking or reading in class, demonstrating my ability to differentiate instruction for students' abilities.

Learning Environments
This is a description of the rules and routines that I enforced at Tecumseh Middle School. They revolve around a RESPECT model that the administration of the middle school incorporated. In order to continually reinforce the positive behaviors, I would include a component of the model in each one of my learning objectives for the day. This document demonstrates my proficiency in working with other staff members to support learning and behavior, as well as my will to encourage self-motivation in my students.

This checklist was both a resource for personal assessment of levels of emotional health for students, as well as an evaluation resource for me as an educator. It was introduced at the beginning of our social and emotional health unit, and revisited during our goal-setting lesson. This list shows my ability to prompt students to reflect on their own behaviors, as well as my drive to know my students better to help them learn better.

I used this stations workout for my fifth grade physical education class. We alternated sport days with workout days, and rotating through the same workouts can get boring. As a result of this, I made a workout that is always changing throughout the class period so students would not get bored. All exercises were those we had covered prior to class. This shows my ability to differentiate instruction to maximize student participation.

I had the pleasure of teaching two yoga classes during my associate teaching experience. This gave me the opportunity to experiment with new flows that worked with different classes depending on class dynamics. These pictures were taken when using a particular medium-level sequence with my seventh grade yoga class. These pictures demonstrate my ability to use exercises that are adaptable for all body types and skill levels, as well as my willingness to try something I am not completely comfortable with and model it for my students.
