Assessment
This performance assessment rubric was constructed for a unit on hygiene for the elementary level. It included levels of differentiation so it applied to several styles or levels of learning, as well as different interests and abilities. The rubric was used to evaluate both the knowledge of hygiene importance, as well as skills involved in maintaining good hygiene. This rubric displays my recognition of different abilities and learning styles, in addition to my organization in my assessment techniques.

My peer assessment was created for a project on cultural diversity in my social and emotional health unit. It allowed students to give positive, accurate feedback to their peers while still reinforcing what they had learned. This assessment shows my ability to engage learners regarding their own learning levels, as well as the ability to guide learners' decision making.

This self-assessment was used for a goal-setting activity in my social and emotional health unit. It provides a reference to remind students of what the acronym SMART stands for, as well as choices and open-ended questions to differentiate the type of questions students are presented. This assessment shows my proficiency in writing questions, as well as my ability to differentiate techniques for my students' benefit.
